hi bob and jayme, i have a qestion for the monthly call, but if you could answer now that would be great. i recently found 3 bran new townhomes, never lived in, the builder went under last year. they are currently bank owned. i called the bank and was able to talk with a gentleman, who then told me i should call the local realestate agent who has it listed, and work through them. my first ? is will i still be able to get the discount we are looking for, and second what would be the best way to go after the deal. should i try to buy the notes or the realestate? hopefuly this gets to you, and i can get some sort of direction on this before the monthly call. if not i hope we can bring this example up on the call for everyone to hear. thanks kory kempton
Hi Kory! I e-mailed you a more detailed answer, but the short answers for everyone reading here are 1) yes, to the first question about the discount, and 2) the bank owns the property, so the notes no longer exist and you have to buy the property. Good luck! Bob
