How To Set Up Your Own Note Buyer Blog Step-By-Step

by Roland on September 6, 2008

This will teach you how to set up your own note buyer blog step-by-step and walk you through the process.
At the workshop yesterday and today, Roland Frasier showed everyone how quickly it was possible to create a blog, an online webpage that acts as a sort of informational journal, and then to get it ranked at the top of the search engines, especially Google.

Bob Leonetti’s Challenge To Roland For The Computer Impaired

In fact, during the workshop, Bob decided to challenge Roland to take three people from the audience and randomly draw their names from a hat, then show them how to do it themselves. Not only that, but Bob increased the difficulty of the challenge and asked that only the most computer challenged, Internet inexperienced people participate in the drawing.

How Did The Students Do With Roland’s Coaching?

So what happened?

Roland took each of the three students aside for about 30 – 45 minutes and showed them step-by-step how easy it was to create a blog, write articles for it and post them online. You read correctly, it took all of about 30 – 45 minutes to do that.

And then what happened?

Well, we hit the #1 result or #1 AND #2 result for ALL THREE on Google within about 2 hours! It’s that easy and that important to include blogging in your marketing mix.

See For Yourself How Each Of These Computer Challenged Students Blogs Rank On Google

You can see the quick and simple websites we set up and how they are doing in the search rankings on Google by clicking the links below. Each one will take you to the current Google search results for each of the three students:

Click This Link To See The Results For San Mateo Note Buyer - As I type this, Lupe’s blog has the number 1 and number 2 search result spots on Google for these keywords.

Click This Link To See The Results For Houston Note Buyer - As I type this, Harlan’s blog has the number 1 and 2 search results spots on Google for these keywords. Interestingly, I built a Hubpages page for Harlan too and it has the numer 3 space. That’s the top 3 search results on Google in just a couple of hours!

Click This Link To See The Results For Austin Note Buyer – This is a little more interesting, because I created a test blog for Austin Note Buyer before we offered to set up blogs and get search rankings for the three students, so I was competing with another blog I had already created using what I know. So, as I type this, Ruben has effectively captured search rankings 1, 2, 3, 4 AND 6! Numbers 1 and 2 are the test blog I did, and spots 3, 4 and 6 are Rubens blog or hubpage.

Now, to stay at the top of the search rankings for Google, you’ll have to do some work. Google is not static and there are LOTS of other people competing to get on that coveted first page of search results.

To stay there, you’ll have to commit to a regular program of posting relevant information that will appeal to your audience and get them clicking on your links, as well as writing posts whose first few paragraphs AND titles contain the keywords you want to appear on Google under the search results for.

Okay, that said, here’s…

How To Set Up Your Own Note Buyer Blog Step-By-Step

Step #1 – Go to www.WordPress.com

Step #2 – At the top right you will see a huge button that says… “SIGN UP NOW” Click it.

Step #3 – Next you’re taken to a screen that says “Get Your Own WordPress.com Account in Seconds.” Fill in the UserName, which has to be at least 4 letters or numbers and cannot contain capitalized words. When choosing a UserName, I like to pick something that has the keywords I’m looking to have Google find me for, so for our test cases, I used “AustinNoteBuyer” and put the city of each student first, followed by the keywords I wanted them to appear for on Google.

Step #4 – Fill in the Password Field.

Step #5 – Confirm the Password you chose in Step #4 by typing it again in the Confirm Field.

Step #6 – Fill in your e-mail address.

Step #7 – Click in the checkbox that says “Legal Flotasm” to agree to WordPress’s Terms of Service.

Step #8 – Click the radio button (if it’s not already clicked) that says “Gimmie a Blog!”

Step #9 – Click the “Next” button.

Step #10 – Next you will be taken to the confirmation page. Here, the first field will be the name of your blog. Don’t change it, because we named it the best way in step #3 by having it say the name of your city followed by the keywords you want Google searches to find you as a result for.
In the second field, called “Blog Title” you can use capital letters and spaces to create the name that your blog will display at the top of its page. Here, you still want to use the key words you want Google to return search results for you for, so just capitalize and add spaces to make it look good. For example, if it says “austinnotebuyer” change it to read “Austin Note Buyer.”

Step #11 – Next click the Signup button at the bottom of the screen.

Step #12 – You will now be taken to a screen that says “Check Your E-mail to Complete Registration.” If you like you can fill in the profile fields that appear on this screen, which we suggest you do, with your First and Last name and a little information about yourself. In the information about yourself, be sure to use your city name and the keywords you want to be found under, as well as your full first and last names. This can help with appearing higher in the search results.

Step #13 – Login to your e-mail account and check your e-mail. You should have an e-mail waiting for you there from WordPress that looks something like this…

From: WordPress.com

Subject: Activate nameofyourblog.wordpress.com

Step #14 – Open that e-mail and you will see an e-mail that says something like this…

Howdy,
