Real Estate Investing More Profitable In The Current Market

Real estate investing continues to be one of the most profitable forms of investing available today.

The post mortgage meltdown economy, increasing rates of unemployment, declining incomes and higher interest rates all continue to push the number of foreclosures in the US to the highest levels since the great depression.

One of the most exciting opportunities for today’s real estate investor is to create a private money investor network, so that they have the capital needed to fund their investments.

Networking in your community and having an “elevator speech” handy to quickly tell people you run into what you do and a little bit about your private money lending program can go a long way towards helping you find new investors to get the money you want.

I agree. Creating a strong network of private investors and other professionals is extremely vital to your business’s success. Therefore, you must be prepared to tell as many people as possible about your business. Be sure to join a local real estate investor group, your local chamber of commerce, or other business associations to get your name out there. It is also very helpful to carry around some business cards that you can hand out to anyone when an opportunity arises. You never know who you’ll come in contact with.

I think that with banks digging themselves out from under loans made in the past several years, private capital is poised to pickup the slack.

The key will be the experiences and ability of the sponsor. If the sponsor can present a compelling investment theme – deals can get done.

Having an investment fund with ready capital puts you way out in front of the guy that’s got to raise money on a deal by deal basis.
