		<description>It really depends on the terms of the LLC Operating Agreement or partnership agreement. If it&#039;s a limited partnership, then you get limited liability protection as an investor, and if it&#039;s an LLC you get the same whether investor or operating member. You need to read the terms to see what the deal is. If it&#039;s a general partnership, then everyone has unlimited liability, so if there&#039;s any use of leverage, it may be more risky.
