3 Stars Same old basics
This bookk covers the same old ground of clean up/clear out/ keep it neutral. Other reviewers have said that it gave them ideas for decorating, but all I got out of it was not to use wall paper or decorative painting (faux finishes). Otherwise, it’s basic: carry out the trash, send the pets to camp, clean out odors, leave closets half-empty, and so forth. Nothing new, and certainly nothing about decorating to sell.

If you are planning to sell your home, this book is a must. Lots of excellent suggestions laid out in a step by step process. This would be a great resource for real estate agents to give to their listing clients as well.

Good basic book, as a Realtor in a tough market every tool and benefit you can offer to a client makes you more valuable. I recently added an AHS designation (Accredited Home-Staging Specialists) that is a direct result of reading this and another book on staging. Realtors, if your office doesn’t offer some type of basic staging services or has access to a company that does you should learn it.

My parents needed some help getting their home ready to sell, this did the trick. It is easy to digest quick information, that helped them organize and stage their home for sale.
