User Ratings and Reviews
5 Stars Amazing – very informative – good read
This book provides valuable information about every decision a home buyer will make. The author tells it how it is and incorporates years of knowledge from the field of real estate. I read every word of the book, even about the things I thought I already knew about, because I value her opinion so highly. I would strongly recommend this book and her website as significant resources to any first time home buyer.
5 Stars Great book to get you started
This book basically points out that you NEED a real estate agent. And preferably a buyer’s agent to purchase your home. Very informative, but really what it all comes down to is that you need a good honest agent to do the asking for you.
5 Stars Price, advice, concise!
Glink has put together a work here that is worth the price. Her suggestions backed by years of experience will likely save any buyer thousands, but beyond that it will make sure that they get the house that is right for them. She has great grey boxes for the must-know information. My only comlaint is that she has a few too many anecdotal entries, but isn’t hard to skip them. A great buy.
5 Stars Older Book but still very helpful!!!!
This book is very helpful in a way that gives you specific answers to questions you have. I love the question answer format. There is also a dictionary in the back that list some terms that the realtor, sellers or buyers may use that you may have no clue what they mean. Good investment.
3 Stars helpful
I found this book helpful to some degree. It did not cover the topic I am most interested in.
